"Tria vs Silk'n Sensepil - Safe Hair Removal From Home?"

Before I get into comparing the Tria vs Silk'n Sensepil let's cover just the basics first.

Granted, unwanted hair can be a big pain in the neck. Apart from being unsightly and embarrassing, excess bodily hair can lead to several hygiene issues, for both men and women. Hair may also be frowned upon in certain religions and cultures where it is considered dirty and sinful to have a lot of bodily hair. It can also be an affront to natural beauty. But regardless of the reasons, removal of unwanted hair is an issue that is predominant in modern society. There are various hair removal methods that have been used from time immemorial, plus a few which have developed in recent years.

Shaving: Not a Good Option

The most common method, and perhaps most inexpensive method of hair removal, is shaving. Shaving is a very common method of hair removal, but it poses a problem in that it may lead to thicker hair growth and occurrence of ingrown hair. In addition, once one has shaved, the probability of the hair growing back at an even faster rate is very high. Other methods used are waxing, especially the bikini wax, which is popular for removing all traces of hair, but this is also inadequate since hair growth re-occurs.

To avoid these problems that are an inherent feature of shaving and waxing, a hair removal system that has promised to completely do away with unwanted hair has been developed. This method is what is known as laser hair removal and it works in such a way that hair is permanently removed through the halting of re-growth of hairs. A related method of removing hair by laser is the use of what scientists' term as electrolysis bleaching products, a method which differs technically from the use of laser IPL technology.

Customer Reviews About the Tria Laser Hair Removal System

"The best purchase I have EVER made! I am extremly cautious at bying products that just seem too good to be true. I have extremly dark, thick hair. I have to shave everyday and get facial waxings every 3 days along with plucking strays in between. You are crazy if you dont try this product and keep living a life style of shaving and waxing and plucking! I started out using it at a 3, and it had a slight tingle. The thicker the hair the worst the tingle. But I like feeling it work and killing those damn hair folicles. You can do quite a large area quickly once you get used to using it. It slides and gets those folicles very easily. You do have to hold your skin taught if you dare to use it on your face because it needs to be on a flat surface, or you can press down hard on the laser to your skin so that it makes contact. This product has changed my life as well. I am no longer checking for stray hairs on my chin or having to do a quick shave when we make a spur of the moment decision to do anything that requires hair free activites. (i.e. pool, beach, wearing a dress/short, or even a romantic evening) LOL. So take it from someone who has to read 5,000 reviews and watch 200 You Tube videos and check for the best price and look at the differences between all the products....TRY IT! "

"I am about two months in, and have seen decent results. Only about a 5% reduction, but this is stated to happen until about two months in. It does require a good pain tolerance, so thats why i feel it is workin. I will write every couple months to update everyone. "

Expensive Clinics Or Health Centers

This process of permanent hair removal is more often than not carried out in clinics or health centers that specialize in the procedure. However, there are two devices which have been unveiled to the public that enable hair removal by laser to be done at home. This saves a lot of money in costs from having to visit the clinic, and it also allows one to have the procedure done in the comfort of their own home. These products work in almost the same fashion and are designed in such a way that they ultimately achieve the same results. They are, however, different in a number of ways. The following is therefore an analysis of Tria vs Silk'n sensEpil, which has been structured in such a way that it shows how silk n sensepil compared to Tria actually works.

The Tria Hair Laser removal device is a small palm-shaped gadget which usually comes in a white encasement. The device comes with handy features such as a charger as well as a skin sensor. Unfortunately, this kind of device differs from other hair removing products in that it does not work on just any skin tone. It is recommended that only people who possess relatively light skin tones use this device. The reason behind this is that people who have darker skin tones possess more melanin which is adversely affected by the laser removal: it often leads to itching and burning of the skin, and in some extreme cases, it precipitates the development of blisters. The Tria Hair Laser Removal method is equipped with a built-in mechanism that allows one to detect whether the skin in question is ideal for use of the device.

Customer Reviews About the Silk'N SensEpil

"I was asked to come on to the Doctor's tv show last year to try the Silk'n and get one for free. I could not go, because I was pregnant. So... Me and my 2 sister in laws decided to each buy one, off the main Silk'n website, during the Valentine day sale. It was $499.00 but it came with 4 light cartridges. If you can't afford the full price, then you can make monthly payments of $100 til it's paid off. Some may find it a problem that you have to keep replacing the light cartridge, which is about $50. With one cartridge I was able to do both my legs (ankle to upper thighs), arms (wrists to elbows), whole face (I have peach fuzz) and both arm pits. I think it more than pays for itself after just one treatment. I had 90% less hair after just one treatment. But, it's different for everyone. You must stick to the treatment schedule and do at least 7 treatment to get the full benefits. Trust me, it is the same exact results as in the professional places. My 2 sister in laws have been going for over a year and I got the same result as they did with the Silk's. This was truly the best investment I have ever made. "

"I have light skin and medium to dark brown hair. Most of my hair is thin (except my bikini line.) I've been doing treatments for nearly 6 months with great results. I use it on my face (sideburns, upper lip, and chin) my arms, bikini line, and underarms. I've had the best results with the hair on my arms. After one treatment only about 5% of the hair grew back. After 4 treatments I only see a couple of strays that have grown back. The hair on my face has taken many more treatments (about 10), but the re-growth is only about 20% at this point. One of my underarms is not growing any hair back (10 treatments). My bikini line is down to about 50% regrowth with 7 treatments I think. All of the hair I have treated either doesn't grow back or grows back thinner. I also get much less ingrown hairs and irritation when shaving. Results are different for different people, but you have to be patient and follow the treatment schedule as they recommend. Don't expect overnight results.
If you buy this product I would recommend keeping a journal to keep track of your treatment schedule on each area of your body. Doing so many different areas it's easy to loose track. "

Check Your Skin Tone

According to Tria reviews, a green light is a go-ahead for the hair removal to proceed. On the other hand, a red light translates to the skin tone being less than ideal for use by the gadget. This amazing feature works by using a skin sensor with a pulsed light that detects the suitability of one's skin tone for use with the product. Once the correct skin tone is detected by the intense pulsed light, the device is ready for use and it unlocks by virtue of a beep. To use this device, one must have painstakingly cleaned, shaved and dried their skin prior to using the product. The product offers different settings which vary in intensity and comfort and can be adjusted to suit user compatibility. The tip of the gadget is then supposed to be held over the skin and once a beep goes off, one can shift the tip to another area. If instead of a beep there is a buzz, chances are that it has not worked effectively on the treatment area.

Contrastingly, we have Silk'n Sensepil, which is yet another laser hair removal device that can be used away from professional hair removal clinics and health centers. First of all, in the comparison of Tria vs Silk n Sensepil, it is important to note that the Tria device is much smaller than the silk n sensepil, despite the fact that both gadgets are portable. As with Tria, the Silk n Sensepil also has a skin sensor which allows the detection of the lightness or otherwise of one's skin tone so as to determine whether the product is suitable for use in the treatment. The bodily parts which are recommended for use of this gadget are the armpits, pubic hair, the legs as well as the arms. Of course, the time taken will depend on the amount of surface area to be covered by the device.

Research Before You Use

It is advised that before one settles on which product to use, when it comes to Tria vs Silk n Sensepil, instructions as to how to use the product, and even to what extent the product is efficient, should be read carefully. Reviews on the subject of Tria vs Silk n Sensepil must also be analyzed carefully, although bear in mind that these are subjective reviews based on the individual experiences of each person who has had the opportunity to sample either or even both of these products. It is also advisable to consult a health care professional as to the best way of going about using either of these products.
