If you're thinking of buying either Revitalash or Latisse, WAIT!...

“Latisse vs. RevitaLash - Which Is Better and Why?”

Not long ago the FDA approved the first ever prescription treatment for eyelashes. The product is called Latisse which promises to grow longer, fuller and darker lashes. But this is just one more product to add to your already full shelves. So is it really the best option?

When we talk about the products available to improve eyelashes, two products really stand out. For better eyelashes, you may want to choose one of these two. The first one is RevitaLash which has been around for a while. It really is a good product that works well. Let’s take a look at the application and the shelf life of the product:

RevitaLash is almost like mascara but you don’t apply it the same manner. You would need to pull out the little brush and apply it to the base of your eyelashes. So how does it work? It stimulates the hair in the follicle of the eyelashes to grow. In about three to four weeks your eyelashes will grow longer, thicker and fuller.

Customers love RevitaLash. One thing I like about RevitaLash is they offer money back guarantee. If you don’t see the growth from your eyelashes, they will refund your money. But the product really works so no one had ever asked for their money back. Your eyelashes will grow. You can now say goodbye to fake eyelashes, that’s how good the product is.

Another good thing about RevitaLash, it is that it can last for quite a period of time. A bottle can be used for at least six to seven months and you won’t need a prescription to buy one. In some extent it is economical compared to Latisse.

What Do Other Customers Say About Both Products?

Ok, I love full eyelashes. I wore extensions for a long time, but they get messy, expensive, and too much of a hassle after about 6 months. I researched all the lash serums on the market. Many had issues with chemicals being nonFDA approved. I read the reviews for Ardell and decided to try it. WHen I say "IT WORKS" it really makes a difference in the fullness of my lashes. I cannot tell you how many people inquire and compliment my lashes. They ask are my lashes fake or what type of mascara do I use. Granted, I had lashes and I wanted to enhance what I had. Even my mother thought I was being dishonest when I told her my lashes were not fake. Ladies it worth trying. I love it; I bought my second tube the other day!! :-)

When I ordered this product I was a bit sceptical with it, There is a new product out there available by precription only, and I heard alot of strange things about it darkining light colored eyes and darkining the lids..well, I sure didnt want that...and the price was rediculous...so I went on line to read some reviews about these eyelash growth products...I have very delicate lashes and they break easily and it really bugged be...and I found this product had the best reviews except for maybe 1 or 2 that were not satisfied...so I went ahead to Amazon and found they had a 3 pack of the Ardell Brow and Lash Accelerator and I already see a difference in 3 weeks my broken lashes are growing out and my normal lashes are getting longer and oh my god my brows are awesome...so if anyone is as sceptical as I was, dont be!!!! this stuff works!!! for a big fraction of the price of the prescription one and the other ones on the market also. Tnanks Ardell!!!! Happy in New York....(PS: Im also in the cosmetic buisness)Babs

On the other hand, Latisse is the new product from Alexander, the company that gave us botox and jubidern. They recently made a big marketing push on this product which is FDA approved. RevitaLash contains a lot of conditioners along with the active ingredient while Latisse is a single drug that is designed to stimulate eyelashes just the same way that RevitaLash does. It’s a great product. It works. And there’s no doubt about it.

Latisse comes with a brush that you would need dip to the bottle’s lid and apply across the eyelashes. So ergonomically, its packaging is not as well designed as RevitaLash. Some studies suggest that perhaps it’s going to work a little bit better than RevitaLash but it hasn’t been around for a while to prove this claim. The bottom line is that both of the products work. RevitaLash is a little bit more economical in the end because it doesn’t require a prescription while Latisse needs one because it is considered a drug. You would need to visit a doctor, get a prescription, and then go to a pharmacy. Unfortunately, insurances do not pay for it so you would take money out of your pocket.

There’s a big range of prices from one pharmacy to the next so if you do choose to get a prescription of Latisse, be sure and call the pharmacies and compare prices. It could cost you around a hundred and twenty dollars for a bottle that you can use for at a month or two.

For RevitaLash, a bottle can be used as your supply for at least four to six months and range anywhere from about a hundred thirty to hundred fifty dollars. So it is more economical. Also in terms of convenience, the Latisse comes in these little containers and you would need to open one everyday. It seems RevitaLash is a little bit more convenient and easier to use. These are some of the reasons why most customers prefer this product.
