I have SUPER curly, frizzy hair so my mom told me I should give this a shot. I initially had the brazilian keratin treatment done at an Ulta salon and it cost me $280. While I absolutely loved the results, my hair was back to it's original state within 2 months. It didn't completely straighten my hair but it relaxed a lot of the curl and elimated most of the frizz. I ended up using less than half as much mousse I would normally use and my hair looked healthy, shinny and I had much less breakage. It also made it a lot easier to brush.
I searched online and bought the QOD Gold kit and purchased the babyliss pro ceramic flat iron (separately) and did the treatment myself at home (with some help from my mom because I couldn't see the back on my hair).
I've got to say, the results came out amazing! The great thing is.. I paid about $400 for the whole kit (which is a lot of $$$ up front) but considering the kit gives you about 10-12 treatments, that would cost almost $3500 at the salon!
